Underfloor Heating

Low costs and low maintenance

Energy efficient and low running charges

Underfloor heating uses a lower temperature than standard radiators, hence heating costs are reduced and approx 10% savings on heating bills can be achieved.

The underfloor heating systems we offer require little or no maintenance, making the ongoing and long term costs lower still.

The systems are invisible and depending on the heat loss of your room, frees up wall space as bulky radiators are not needed. This gives you more space to be used and enjoyed.

Electric Underfloor Heating

Underfloor heating mats are the most used system. All you need to do is roll out the mat until it's used up. The cable can be removed from the mat to shape into any awkward spaces if needed. The system is ideal for kitchens, lounges, dining rooms and most other areas.

Vinyl foil heating mats are the more advanced option, designed to be installed under carpet and vinyl floors.

Loose wire systems are ideal for smaller, more awkward, areas such as bathrooms.

Inscreed cables are only normally used in new extensions or conservatory project as they take longer to heat up and produce an output of 17 watts per linear metre.

Water Based Underfloor Heating

With a water-based underfloor heating system, a series of pipes connected to a boiler via a manifold, it circulates warm water throughout the floor to heat the space. Because the heat emitted from an underfloor system is more evenly distributed than a single radiator, the system can use water at a lower temperature. So it's a more efficient way of heating your home.

The standard output system is suitable for internal well insulated areas such as a living room, kitchen or bathroom, controlled by a single thermostat.

A high output system is suitable for areas of high heat loss, ideal for conservatories, extensions and external buildings with lots of glass.

A multi zone system is suitable when you want to control different rooms at different temperatures and times, ideal for complete new builds.

A low profile system uses a smaller pipe diameter which attains a lower floor height. These systems can be used on existing floors with minimal disruption.
