Interior Design

From concept design to completion

From inspiration and imagination to installation

Like music and art, interior design is not a precise science and the success, or otherwise, of the outcome can be entirely subjective. However, our experienced designers are accustomed to interpreting our clients' needs both in terms of aesthetics and lifestyle but offering practical and creative solutions in the process.

In fact music and art, and indeed lighting and smart automation, can play a large part in the way that we approach interior design planning. In days gone by the only consideration would have been to ask how many plug points were required.

Now, our experience in the electrical industry makes us unique in that we can future-proof your premises to allow for lighting, heating, broadband, ethernet, fibre optics, remote and voice-activated products, home automation, underfloor heating and more besides.

The meeting of minds

At the outset our designers will offer mood boards and product specification options to demonstrate optimum colour schemes, wall finishes, fabrics and treatments, all of which will be costed and agreed before we proceed. Provisional and progress costs are clearly stated so that there are no ‘surprises’ during the process.

Each unique interior design has much in common with our lighting design service in that implementation can require a truly bespoke approach according to the size, shape, age and challenges presented by the space available.

Whilst any finished project should reflect the personality and tastes of the people who will be living or working around it, combining your aspirations with the benefit of our knowledge does not have to mean unsatisfactory compromise. The meeting of minds can be a revelation!

Project management

Our meticulous attention to detail is implemented by project managers who will oversee the project from the bare floorboards and spaghetti of cables through to the pristine outcome, and always with the two main targets in mind: on time and on budget.

Our trusted professional associates include experts in planning, engineering and most of the contracting trades. And our space planning scheme can also encompass procurement of bespoke furnishings, joinery and, of course lighting design.

Sourcing accessories, be they modern, vintage and perhaps salvaged pieces as well as artwork, soft furnishings, and architectural ironmongery, can be the finishing touches that create the perfect outcome.
